Piemonte is one of the world’s great wine regions, producing an extraordinary diversity of wines, from Barolo and Barbaresco to Gavi, Arneis, Timorasso and Moscato d’Asti. While the Langhe has achieved international fame, there is far more to discover, from the historic Nebbiolo vineyards of Northern Piemonte to the rolling hills of Monferrato and the renaissance of Timorasso in the Colli Tortonesi.
For more than fifteen years, Piemonte has been one of the most rewarding wine regions for me to explore. From internationally renowned names such as Barolo and Barbaresco to the rediscovery of Northern Piemonte and Timorasso, every visit has revealed something new. The books, regional guides, producer profiles and tasting reports on these pages draw together that journey of discovery.
