Germany – from the Ahr to Rheinhessen
In 2014 I had the good fortune to spend a fortnight exploring the wines of Germany, which was funded partly by winning the Wine Trade Club Paten prize (on completing my WSET Diploma) and then supplemented by a scholarship offered by Reh-Kendermann for MW students. I am grateful to both for their invaluable support and for giving me the chance to visit important wine regions in some depth. For convenience, I also list some early posts on the wines of Germany from this great wine country.
