Ahr valley: Pinot territory

In the following section you can discover my photos of the Ahr Valley in Northern Germany.  Pinot Noir is not just the red wine of Burgundy; it also thrives in the tiny Ahr valley, a couple of hundred kilometres north on the steep slopes of the Ahr, an hour further north than the Mosel.
