I have just seen that the email that you receive about a new diary entry does not include the carefully crafted images in my blog post! Aargh.  Nor does it give you the link to click on to get the full web page with those lovely pics.  

Short term solution: this is a trial post to see if the native image programme will overcome the problem. Here are a couple of images from my recent visits to Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero.  Problem solved? let me know!
