Perfect beach

GlenelgAfter a 30 hour journey, however straightforward, where would you like to end up?  How about the freshness of a South Australian morning, 8.30 am, and a nearly deserted beach?  It is clearly going to be a hot day, at least for those arriving from an English winter. But at that hour, the sun gleams but it doesn’t burn; the breeze is fresh; the sea is cool to the touch.  And the sense of space is remarkable.  Presumably, at midday on the weekend it is rather different but this morning it was the perfect beach.  Glenelg, S. Australia, about 10 minutes from Adelaide airport and then just a tram ride to central Adelaide.
